We’ll take a closer look at the magical and religious beliefs of the Renaissance that led to the Danish witch trials.
At the same time, you’ll be introduced to Ribe and the town’s central role in Denmark’s history of witchcraft.
This introduction makes it easier to understand the museum’s layout and narratives, and provides a good starting point for the rest of your visit.
